Small Wedding Accessories inspiration

We’re a few days into the third lockdown in the UK and I hope you’re all well and looking after yourselves. It’s been such a difficult year for everyone and if your wedding has been postponed or your plans have had to change, I’m so sorry. The main thing is keeping everyone safe but I do understand why you would be disappointed if your day doesn’t go ahead as planned. I guess I just wanted to offer a little bit of encouragement and maybe some distraction with some sparkles! I know it’s not much but if it brings you a few minutes of joy then mission accomplished!

I know a lot of people have decided to go ahead with small weddings (when we’re not locked down) and I’ve spoken quite a lot over on Instagram about how my small wedding was a really amazing experience so check out the SMALL WEDDINGS highlight over on Insta if you haven’t already. I had a tiny registry office wedding then a party later on and it was loads of fun being able to have two outfits. I thought I’d put together some accessories which work really well for small weddings or are versatile enough to be worn for any size wedding.

Firstly, you shouldn’t let the number of guests decide which accessories you should wear or what your dress should look like. Go for whatever you want and what you love, no matter what. If you want a crown then great! If you’d prefer something a little more subtle then here are some good options to inspire you. A statement earring or a selection of hair clips might be the perfect option that you know you’ll be able to wear again and again. Or a headband can give the feel of a crown but doesn’t look too “bridal”. Let your imagination run wild!
