Tilly Thomas Lux headpieces for an intimate, glamorous wedding
Weddings look different at the moment, there’s no denying it. The restrictions are there to keep everyone safe and that’s the most important thing. It has put a huge strain on the wedding industry and small business like mine, not to mention heartbroken couples who haven’t been able to have the wedding they imagined. We’re all adapting and I guess I just wanted to say that it’s been so amazing to hear from my brides who’ve approached these challenges with a different perspective and made something wonderful out of it.
I spoke about my husband and I deciding to have a small wedding over on Instagram and I really loved hearing your stories about your elopements and your decision to adapt under the circumstances. Max and I have been married for a while now and our decision came long before Covid. We had a small wedding for various reasons and it was equally as special as the big party we threw afterwards and I was so thrilled to receive this email from our stunning bride Aimee who we met at our Day of Sparkle back in February:
"After much back and forth, and telling loved ones in June that we were postponing to 2021, we finally made the decision 4 weeks before our wedding date on September 10th to go ahead with this year! It was Sally's Instagram post about her own gorgeously intimate wedding that made me think "why wait?!" and I'm so glad we went ahead - it really was the most special day and I can't wait to wear my crowns again for the big party we're going to have as soon as we're able to, with all of our loved ones present!"
How happy and glowing is Aimee in these pictures?! I was so pleased to see her enjoying her day and the huge smile on her face is proof that this was the right decision for her to go ahead with it now. She looks incredible in her dress, accessorised perfectly with our Lucia star headband and Hestia headpiece. She also wore our Mrs clips later on in the day which were a gift from her bridesmaid which we organised stealthily on our Day of Sparkle!
